Question
Closing Main Street requires more than just re-routing buses. This will cause significant traffic issues for whatever residential streets become the new route for folks who live in the Eastern side of the city to get travel towards Suzy Wilson road. I would really like to understand why there is interest in closing Main street. What will this accomplish? Why not instead consider closing the block of Maple from 5 corners to the new connector? Because it doesn't make any more sense than closing Main Street.
