Suggestion
Roundabouts are rapidly being employed more in road construction. It is forecasted their utilization will increase exponentially in the near future. I have worked in the UK, where roundabouts are very common. The ones constructed in in Airway Height are too small. They should be larger to permit buses, semis, and most longer vehicles to drive through in a single lane. The initial construction costs will be higher, but cheaper in the long run. Repeated accidents, reassessments, redesigns and reconstruction costs as far more expensive, than building it the correct way the first time. Also, link educational videos, and pamphlets to teach drivers the proper way to safely navigate them. Citizens should report vehicles blocking the public sidewalks, as it forces pedestrians and children to compete for space in the streets. Report abandoned vehicles, as many are stolen, and become havens for drug use. Sidewalk snowplows should be used, in areas where homeowners and renters are not required to keep the sidewalk clear of snow. This will help keep pedestrians out of the streets in winter. Thanks you.
